Biography

Annelisa leads the Centre’s work with the private sector. The programme aims to bring high quality biodiversity data and information into the heart of private sector decision-making, and in doing so aims to enable more, and more effective, conservation of biodiversity worldwide.

She has more than 20 years’ experience advising companies and civil society on the business risks and opportunities associated with biodiversity and ecosystem services and approaches to managing them. Annelisa was previously the Director of Corporate Affairs, and Director of Environmental Markets with Fauna & Flora International before spending six years as an independent environmental consultant. She has been involved in the development of tools and methodologies for evaluating corporate biodiversity performance and management systems for the following sectors: extractive, food and drink, tobacco, retail, finance and pharmaceutical.
