Biography
Darren is responsible for all elements of the pre-construction of the Conservation Campus and is working closely with the Client’s project team throughout the tender period through to early construction stage. He will ensure compliance with the tender documentation and will proactively seek best value for the client.
In his previous role as Environmental Adviser, he was a key figure in the development and successful implementation of the Kier regional environmental management system for which has been accredited by the British Standards Institute to the requirements of ISO 14001. Within Cambridge, he has been involved the construction of the Sainsbury Laboratory in the Botanic Gardens and the Institute for Manufacturing.
He joined Kier in 1989 as a Contracts Engineer and has progressed through various construction disciplines including Site Engineer, Design & Build, Contracts Management. Planning Department and Environmental Department.
