Biography

Martin is responsible for helping companies with a global reach to manage their impacts and dependences on natural resources through innovative approaches and new business models.

He has previously supported leaders from the global tourism and mining industries to shape their response to climate change and the depletion of natural resources. He is a member of the UK government’s Ecosystem Market Task Force. Over a diverse career Martin has lived and worked in rural settings across Sub Saharan Africa, whilst finding time to complete a Master's in Environmental Management from Imperial College London. Through his engagement with the oil and agricultural sectors, smallholders, and in forestry management across the continent he has developed a unique understanding of sustainability challenges and the critical relationships between global business, local communities and their supply networks.
