Biography

An international expert in urban and regional planning, Marcial Echenique has been involved in the development of cities across the world. He is particularly interested in the role of transport and pioneered the integration of land use and transport models. He has acted as a consultant to numerous governments and international bodies, including the World Bank and the United Nations. He is Professorial Fellow of Churchill College, Principal Investigator of the £3.8m EPSRC funded ReVISIONS research programme and the Director of Cambridge Futures Study.
