Cambridge Forum for Sustainability and the Environment

ESA - The heart of Central Asia

The Cambridge Forum for Sustainability and the Environment (CFSE) in collaboration with the Humanitarian Centre will host a panel discussion on the right to sustainable development and environmental protection.

A panel of distinguished speakers from different disciplines and sectors will debate the concept of environmental justice. The discussion will address questions such as what rights and responsibilities should exist in relation to environmental protection, and whether having legal mechanisms such as a 'Bill of Rights' or the widespread recognition of Ecocide as an international crime during peacetime could prove helpful in protecting natural resources and the environment.
